Only seems like yesterday when I joined Greythorn - its hard to believe it’s actually been four years ago this month.
I started at Greythorn in October 2002, recruited to focus on developing new business, within my first four weeks I was fortunate enough to source a client recruiting Credit Card specialists. The knock on effect was a total of 26 placements within four weeks.
The client, thankfully for me, was based in Germany, so at Greythorn's recommendation, I became a regular visitor to Frankfurt to ensure that both client and candidate satisfaction was maintained.
Given the difficulty in sourcing experienced recruitment specialists, I was quickly promoted to Greythorn Trainer ensuring that all new recruits and trainees were fully prepared and 'thick skinned' enough to embark on a career in IT recruitment.
Not long after the successful training programme, I was appointed Team Leader where I successfully grew a team of five specialising in both development and senior appointments.
Since the initial contact with the German client, I have specialised in Transaction Processing and have represented specialist contractors across Europe's most renowned and high-profile projects.
Client and candidate satisfaction have always been of paramount importance to me in performing this job, and it was with great delight that I recently accepted the post of Business Development Manager for the EMEA region. With Greythorn under new ownership this is a fantastic opportunity for me to fully develop and sustain great client working relationships across international borders.
