3G/LTE Opimisation Engineers
My client is looking for German speaking 3G/LTE Optimisation Engineers for a contract opportunity.
The responsibility of this position includes but not limited to the following activities:
* Generate field test plans. According to the project scope, to coordinate with partners or organise/monitor the necessary testing directly.
* Perform post process, analysis, define optimization actions, trigger the action implementation, validate the action implementation and generate report after testing.
* Perform overall Site/Cluster optimization for commercial 2G/3G/LTE networks. This includes making the test plan, review the test data and monitor PM data.
* Development and presentation of technical workshops / clarification meetings / report / negotiation sessions, for the regional customer team.
* Optimization Activities (indicative)
a) Handover optimization
b) Drop call rate optimization
c) PS attach and context activation optimization
d) Throughput optimization
e) RTT/PING/Packet Loss Rate optimisation
f) Parameter Fine-tuning for 2G/3G/LTE
g)PS Traffic Monitoring and Optimization
The right consultant will need to have:
* International working experience in operator and vendor environments and experience with large variety of planning and optimisation tools and processes.
* Ability to lead a team of engineers and 3rd Party service delivery teams.
* Experience in 2G/3G/LTE Radio Planning and Optimization. At minimum the candidate should have 5 years of hands on HSPA Optimisation (parameter fine tuning, QoS improvement etc)
* Expert in analysis of performance based on statistical counters and drive test data or Ericsson/NSN/Huawei 2G/3G/LTE networks.
* Working knowledge of hardware and software features and constraints for both 2G, 3G and LTE systems and related engineering tools
* Fluent English language skills, at least Good level for German speaking and writing
* Driving license
