3rd line Server support - Projects, VM Ware, Windows, Exchange, SAN, Server, Network - 45k
My client an expanding financial company are seeking to recruit an experienced 3rd Line Support Analyst to join their team. The role will be working as part of a team mainly working on new infrastructure projects and upgrading the network. The environment is mainly Windows/VM Ware/Citrix in a clustered 24/7 environment.
You will be responsible for the server and network architecture including:
* Windows 2003/2008 Server R2, Active Directory, LAN, Internet access, firewalls, VLAN, routers, switches and Exchange 2007 / 2010
* Manage the VMware vSphere 4.1 Infrastructure and SAN environment
* Manage the software application and desktop operating system deployment environment using Microsoft SCCM 2007
* Windows Script Host / VBScript to customise software application deployment
Looking for someone with similar experience with the following:
* Experience of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 / 2008, AD and clustering
* VMware vSphere 4.x in an enterprise environment
* Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 / 2010
* Microsoft SCCM 2007 including software / operating system deployment
* Experience of troubleshooting networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and routing
* Experience in installing, configuring and managing Cisco switches and routers.
* Knowledge of Citrix Presentation Server / XenApp Server / XenDesktop
* Knowledge of SCCM 2007
* Knowledge of SAN
* Knowledge of Windows Script Host / VBScript
* Good Knowledge of backup systems (preferably Symantec Backup Exec)
* Willingness and ability to help
* Good communication skills
* Quick to learn
* Self Motivating
