Business Intelligence developer required.
My client, an internationally renowned Global Professional Services Firm is currently recruiting for an experienced Business intelligence developer. You will be overseeing the on-going development and operations of Business Intelligence architecture that enables fact based decision and analysis.
You will be playing an active role in the IS team collaborating with all members of the team to maximise contribution to the firm. You will have strong Business intelligence knowledge and have extensive experience on the following:
* Clear understanding of Business Intelligence tools (currently Microsoft BI stack) and SQL to write queries/manipulate data with awareness of risk to the integrity of that data
* Develops and maintains the data warehouse using data modelling methodologies
* Develops and maintains OLAP cubes (SSAS/MDX)
* Develops and maintains enterprise ETL packages (SSIS)
* Provides innovative methods and solutions to enable staff to access complex data in a simple and effective manner (SSRS etc)
* Makes sound design decisions for BI solutions, using first-rate analysis and problem solving skills
* Provides 3rd Line support for Data Warehouse, SQL Server and Business Intelligence Systems issues
* Supports and develops the SQL infrastructure and improves our database platforms
* Handle the pressures and complexity of working on multiple diverse projects within a small team
You will ideally also have experience working in a large environment with 1000+ users.
