Senior C#/ .NET Developer urgently required! We have an excellent position with an international market leading online sports betting and gaming company. The company currently is the leading cross-boarder retails sports betting group in Europe with annual profit of over £7million.
This exciting Senior C#/ .NET Developer role will involve the design, development and implementation of code to contribute to the overview of the project on the application level, as well as the component level and individual tasks, you will also be working closely with the business managers. The Senior Developer will also be expected to mentor more junior programmers.
The essential skills are:
5+ Years in C# and .NET (3.5 & 4)
Experience of building core business systems in MS technologies, not just front ends
Experience of Microsoft solutions and tools inc. Visual Studio Team Foundation Server
Ability to write clear, well structured, well performing C# code
Strong object orientated design and development experience
SQL Server 2005/2008 experience including SQL and Stored procedures
Excellent knowledge of MVC architecture/approach
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
The desirable skills are:
University degree in Computer Science or a related field
Knowledge of other languages would be useful (Perl, PHP etc)
Experience of working in an Agile development environment
