My client being a highly regarded organisation within their Industry sector and an employer of choice, with their head office being based in Melbourne, now due to further company growth require an experienced Citrix Specialist to play a major part within their Infrastructure Team.
In this role, you will work closely alongside Senior Architects and SME's across all Project related work. You will be working with the Senior Architects, other Consultants and PM's in Design and Implementation of all Projects before you pass it on to the Operations Team (Engineers) for them to support (this Citrix Consultant position does not include providing any BAU support at all).
This role will involve a mix of being hands on and your people skills providing technical solutions for their customers and the internal business.
This position also includes being a mentor and guide for the Engineers if they have any queries or questions.
This position will also provide on going Training if the Storage, Virtualisation, Windows or Networking arena is where you would like to focus on in the future.
To be successful in this role, my client is looking for the successful candidate to ideally have:
Strong experience in the Design and Implementation of Citrix solutions.
Previous experience also in the delivery of Proof of Concepts, Pilots & Builds..
Knowledge of available tools and procedures to ensure maximization of the infrastructure.
Excellent documentation skills.
The ability to articulate your Designs and how you plan to execute them.
Ability to foster and create a good team culture.
Solid experience working within mid to large environments.
