Excel VBA Support Analyst required.- Strategic Application Development. Excel VBA Support Analyst required to provide Microsoft Excel spreadsheet VBA and Access database support and development to all areas of a great Fund Management Company. The Excel VBA Support Analyst will investigate and analyse requirements and propose designs and solutions, either by enhancements to third party or in-house systems, to meet business needs. As this role is within the financial domain - it would be useful to have an interest or understanding of the Money Markets.
The Excel VBA Support Analyst will also provide support on Front and Middle Office business applications for the front and middle office business users and for business change projects.
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) plus:-
� Extensive Excel / VBA development experience gained in a business driven environment
� Good knowledge of Access including GUI design, queries, reports, pivot tables, data imports / exports and interfacing with Excel / Outlook through VBA
� Good knowledge of Excel including advanced formulae, pivot tables, lookups, named ranges and interfacing with Access / Outlook through VBA.
� RDBMS experience ( SQL-Server, Oracle, Sybase ) , SSIS (ideal)
� Front Office experience ideally in a support / development environment
� Ability to quickly get up to speed, understand existing solutions and become the main point of contact
