Network Team Leader - Cisco, Checkpoint, Cisco Unified, Unity, CCVP, CCNP, Voice - London - 50k
My client an expanding Media company are seeking to recruit an experienced Network Team Leader to join their team. You will be working on network/security/Voice projects within EMEA as part of the Networks team.
Other Duties include:
* Assisting the Head of Technical Infrastructure with the creation & execution of strategies and technical roadmaps.
* Support, maintain and develop the telephony and network environment in use throughout the business - Network include MPLS, Cisco OSPF, BGP etc, cisco unity, communications, Voice/VOIP
* Provide "hands on" 3rd level support for operational problems and issues referred by the Service Desk and other technical support teams.
* Provide support, advice and assistance to other members of the Infrastructure teams.
* Control and prioritisation of workload and resources, ensuring that problems and service requests are managed through to resolution within agreed service levels.
* Development and maintenance of operationally robust and secure infrastructure.
* Manage technical projects, external resources and 3rd party suppliers as appropriate.
* Technical support for 250+ network devices and 3500+ users.
* Responsible for directly controlled comms rooms, including security, environmentals, adds and changes.
* Ensuring the handover of projects and transfer of knowledge to operational teams both during and after implementation.

*Proven team leadership skills
*CCNA required. CCNP/CCVP desirable
*Extensive knowledge of networking and network protocols
*Competency with Checkpoint R75 / Cisco ASA firewalls
*Cisco Unified Communications Manager 8
*Cisco Unity Connection 8
*Cisco Wide Area Application Services
*Windows Server or Linux OS desirable
*Project management skills
*Vendor/Supplier relationship management
*ITIL Awareness
*ISO 27001 experience/awareness
*Ability to work autonomously and with other teams in IT and in other areas of the business
*Aptitude to quickly gain knowledge of new technologies in order to support business needs
*Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP, related protocols and IP subnetting
