Operations Manager - ITIL - EMEA, Processes, Service Delivery - London 80k
My client a Global Law firm are seeking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager EMEA to join their team. You will be responsible for the overall structure/service/procedures that the IT departments provide to the business within EMEA.
The role is a very demanding one, and concentrates on maintaining a high performing, highly available, customer orientated IS function for the EMEA region. It involves participating in and supporting the continuous improvement of current infrastructure and services. Also assisting the IS Directors with the definition of business requirements, project management, system and software testing and the performance control of network operations, maintenance and technical support in the EMEA region.
Looking for people with similar experience - preferable in Legal - with the following:
Demonstrable IS team leader or management experience with a proven track record, gained preferably in a law firm or other professional services environment.
Broad high level understanding of IS technical issues.
Experience of preparing and managing budgets.
Graduate with formal IS qualifications (including ITIL/Service Delivery or other service orientated qualifications) preferable, or equivalent experience.
Good understanding of standards and frameworks, e.g. ISO 27001/ISO9000 processes and procedures.
Demonstrable experience of managing effective relationships with third party suppliers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to exhibit a positive attitude and interact positively at all levels within the firm and a good team player
Able to demonstrate excellent client/customer facing skills
Able to effectively negotiate with and influence colleagues and others to achieve a successful outcome
Strong problem solving and analytical skills; can clearly explain and present problems and issues to others and contribute to their resolution
