Our client, the world leader at broadcasting and commercialising sport in digital media, are currently looking to recruit a Senior Java Developer to join their dynamic team.
If you're a Java Developer with a broad range of technical skills including JDBC, Hibernate, Spring, XML, unit testing, Integration testing and load testing this is the role for you.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will develop cutting-edge products on-time, to a high standard and in-line with the product roadmap.
You will work within a structured environment which incorporates analysis, design, coding standards, code review, unit testing, quality assurance, source code management and documentation.
Developing the technical strategy and providing detailed technical designs for the product, you will act as a gatekeeper, ensuring that any projects that affect the product are implemented in accordance with your strategy.
Your other duties will include:
- Contributing to the team by sharing new ideas and technologies in meetings
- Helping with the recruitment or contracting process, choosing the mix of your development team
- Taking responsibility for the quality of the code that affects your product
- Ensuring that your product is tested and documented to a high standard
- Ensuring that the estimates given by your team are accurate
To be considered for this role, you must have solid commercial Java development experience.
You will also need experience of the following:
- XML
- JDBC, Hibernate and Spring
- Unit testing
- Integration testing
- Load testing
