This is an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Unified Communications & Security Engineer, looking to develop their skills and experience within one of Australia's leading services companies.

The focus of this position will be on ensuring the security and integrity of the network and providing exceptional technical support to various areas of the business, facilitating the different business groups to achieve their goals.

As Senior UC & Securtity Engineer, your focus will be on providing telecommunications admin, network admin, firewall management, hardware and software maintenetnce, producing documentation, mofifying and configuring the communications environment and ensuring the communication environment meets all compliance requirements.

To be successful in your application, it is essential that you can reasonably demonstrate a working 'hands on' practical knowledge and experience of mantaining, upgrading and supporting an Avaya CM4 System.

Technical Requirements of the role:

Extensive support experience with the Avaya Suite of products, Cisco networking equipment, different Firewall Technologies.

Working with network and telphony infrastructure, supporting over 1000+ users.

CCNA / CCNP would be an advantage.

Skills and Abilities required:

Excellent verbal and written communication Skills.

Analytical and Problem solving skills.

Ability to understand complex communication systems.

This position is based in Sydney and will suit asomeone who has managed and maintained an Avaya CM4 system previously, and is looking to work and support a large number of end users. This is a great opportunity for someine who is looking to step up to a senior level.
