Summary:
London based bank is looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer. Role will be reporting directly into the Head of User Experience Design and working as an integral part of a small team of passionate UX designers within one of the biggest banks in the world, driving the development of the next generation of Fixed Income trading tools. Team designs for highly skilled, extremely specialized users working in the world's most demanding real-time environments. Team works agile within a UX-driven development environment pushing the limits of Microsoft's latest technologies.
User Experience (UX) Designer will bring to life next-generation interactions from research and conception to usability testing and implementation. User Experience Designer will be passionate about user-centric design and feel best in a multi-disciplinary role that bridges between ethnography, business analysis, interaction design, usability, and project management. User Experience Designer must get excited by huge quantities of data within complex business processes and the potential of design to simplify them. User Experience Designer must be a self-starter who will maintain enthusiasm throughout a project and assume an active advocacy role for the user.
Role:
*Assume full ownership of User Experience design for a number of projects and coordinate all stakeholders including users, business, business analysts, developers and QA.
*Liaise with business analysts to define the functionality and business requirements of a project
*Find the right users in the organization and structure your research and ethnography
*Iterative interaction design until signoff from users and business
*Usability testing throughout the development/design workflow.
Skills and Qualifications:
User Experience (UX) Designer should have been working in one or more of the following areas or have experience with these tools:
*Adobe Photoshop or other visual design tools
*Microsoft Expressions SketchFlow or other interactive prototype tools
*Wireframe-design tools
*XAML knowledge is a plus
