Job Responsibilities The SharePoint Consultant will assume a lead role as a consultant and an analyst on client engagements. This lead, professional will also work independently and on project teams focused on delivering SharePoint business solutions for our customers.
Specifically, this SharePoint Consultant will be knowledgeable about and responsible for providing infrastructure, architecture and configuration/administration consulting services related to SharePoint with external clients. Additionally, this team member will be able to function as a business analyst in translating business requirements to SharePoint business solutions and implementing SharePoint functionality to address requirements.

Requirements ? Minimum of 5+ year Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) 3.0 and SharePoint 2010
? Medium to Expert level of experience with DNS, IIS, SSL, SMTP, SQL Server and Windows Server 2008 and NLB (or other load-balancing technologies)
? Ability to communicate with server/infrastructure administrators as well as developers and non-technical business constituents about the above technologies
? Ability to assess client requirements and determine appropriate architecture for SharePoint configuration
? Ability to troubleshoot server and farm installations, including web.config, SharePoint Logs, SQL Logs, SQL Profiler ,performance and scale up issues.
? Technical support of InfoPath forms, including communicating the location of form libraries, their purpose and workflows.
? Experience or familiarity with commonly used open source or third-party SharePoint administration and application tools, including those from Quest,Bamboo, AvePoint, Nintex, Metalogix and Codeplex
? Strong consulting and analysis skills (ability to understand business needs and to help translate those into technical solutions)
? Ability to work independently (self-starter) as well as play various implementation roles within project teams
? Exceptional communication, documentation and organizational skills
? Strong understanding of best practices to implement SharePoint security Governance model across the farm.
Desired Skills ? A familiarity and understanding of Microsoft .Net including ASP.Net, ADO.Net and SQl Server and how these and other technologies relate to SharePoint.
? Familiarity with SharePoint Designer and PowerShell scripting.
? Microsoft Certification – MCITP
? Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methods
