SQL Developer/Support - SQL, T-SQL, reporting, SSRS, MOSS, Business App - 33k, London
My client an expanding Professional Services company are seeking to recruit an experienced SQL Developer/Support to join their team. This role is new, very diverse and challenging as not only will you be working on a new project within reporting - based on SSRS and Sharepoint - but be a subject matter expert on key business applications which will see you working with the latest technology. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to learn and grow into the position.
Duties include:
* Create and manage a new SSRS reporting environment
* Create a new SSRS reports pack for the firm's timesheet, billing and CRM system
* Development and Support for key line-of-business applications
* Development and support for the SQL based electronic audit application
* Provide support for the MOSS based document management system
* Ad-hoc report writing for other SQL-based line-of-business applications
* Integration of reports into Microsoft Office SharePoint System (MOSS) 2007
* Database Administration role for the business application and technical SQL Server 2008 environments
* Maintain the SQL server test and production environments
* Improve connectivity between SQL based business applications
Looking for someone with similar experience with the following:
Required
* Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2008
* Experience in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) preferably with a knowledge of financial systems
* Experience in database object such as Stored Procedures, Views, Indexes and SQL queries (T-SQL)
Desirable
* Knowledge of SSRS in a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 environment
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer
* Knowledge of XML
* Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 / 2008 / 2010
* Any web development experience would be advantageous
* Willingness and ability to help
* Excellent telephone manner
* Good communication skills
* Quick to learn
