Summary
Digital media client is looking for a highly skilled UX / UI Designer to join their team. Reporting into the Head of User Experience, you will be joining a growing team of permanent designers. It is a monthly rolling contract, so success and longevity will be based on activity and new projects gained.
As UX Designer you will:
Be responsible for designing the user experience of highly usable and accessible websites and applications.
Define and organise content; create functional specifications in the form of screen flows, sitemaps, state transition diagrams, annotated wireframes and interactive prototypes.
Have a solid understanding of the principles of user-centred design, experience of working on CMS template driven websites and are prepared to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
UX Designer should have some experience of usability testing methods and should be up to date on web technology and accessibility issues. You will be required to gather requirements and run user groups and then analyse and implement the research results. You should; be eager to produce work which wins awards, be extremely organised and an enthusiastic, creative thinker.
Experience/Skills
*A bachelor's degree in a design related field or equivalent experience, along with knowledge of interaction design, usability, accessibility, and information architecture.
*Experience with developing Rich Internet Applications using AJAX, Flash, HTML 5
*Used software Axure RP, Visio, Word and Photoshop extensively
*Used artefacts like screenflows/sitemaps, wireframes, personas and scenarios extensively
*Experience working on large and complex web applications is desirable
